The question is what does that translate into? Herpes 2 % Not cureable. Aids not cureable. Gonnorhea, Trichomnas, Syphilis, Chlamydia: easily cureable. HPV There is a new vaccine that covers the most common types. It creates a risk for cervical cancer. The question then becomes with so many females infected with HPV what is the prevelence of HPV induced cervical cancer? Untreated gonorrhea and chlamydia can lead to tubal pregnacies and infertility. It can be harder for women to know they are infected because they don't get the classic burn when I pee and possibly pus coming out of the urethra.
Take note, women: Don't have sex with Dan because it burns when he pees, and sometimes pus comes out of his urethra.

A friend of mine has HPV and she's been with like 4 guys (she's 30). Another one (also 30) claims she doesn't have it but she's been with I don't know how many people. I suspect that she has it but won't admit to it because she has had bad paps. Reminds me of that movie Kids. The girl who just lost her virginity got AIDS and the other girl who had been around the block several times didn't.
The rumor I've heard floating around is that 30-40% of the U.S population already has HPV. There's almost no visible symptoms except for the strain that causes cervical cancer, and I'm not even sure that has any symptoms either.
