I don't know. I mean, I'm sure he means well but yeah. I can totally see how this is just another bullshit marketing effort to sponge off the human suffering in some distant land that, if everyone is honest about it, nobody gives a shit about.

If someone told you that you could hit a big green button and send a bunch of radios to starving Africans OR, you could hit a big red button and there would instantly be NO HUMAN LIFE on the entire African continent, I'm sure that most of you would have a hard time deciding on which button to push. It sucks. Humans, for the most part, don't care about anything but themselves.

Unless they're rich and don't have anything to worry about except the guilt they feel about being rich and therefore feel compelled to do dumb shit like autograph radios for Africans.

Honestly, the Earth would be so much better off if Humans went extinct.

I think I've been pretty consistent with that sentiment over the years.

He'll probably spend the proceeds on cheap hookers and crack cocaine.

Free play needs to get their propaganda to the African masses.

Reminds me again of the movie "The Gods must be Crazy" Just think if the tribe had a wind up radio to fight over instead of a coke bottle.

    No kidding.

But after watching that video, I can't help but think - are people really THAT stupid to buy into this shit? Of course, since the auctions have already ended, and I can see the results, I guess so... They sold each of those for well over a thousand dollars...

I just loved how Tom Hanks was so unrehearsed during the video shoot... After watching that, I'd be surprised if he even knows how to plug in a regular radio...

...and that's all I have to say about that...

Nothing? Don't you want to talk about how much you liked him in Busom Buddies?

You people are disappointing, to say the least.

Are you kidding it took him 12 takes to get the "Oh alright is the camera rolling?" part to look just like he liked it.

I love the way that a celebrity will step over a homeless man on the street on their way to a benefit for starving Africans. Nevermind that the homeless man was a Vietnam vet. There are kids out their with flies all over them who have never heard of the Black Eyed Peas!

I also enjoy watching how children from impoverished countries are the new "designer dog" arm accessory. What are they going to do when these kids aren't old enough to carry? Throw them out with last year's Louis Vuitton bag? Give them to their hairdresser?

I think they get doing things for a cause mixed up with doing things just because.

Give them condoms, not radios. If they would quit fucking and having children and *fucking children to cure their AIDS, they might not be in the state that they are in.

And Hanks needs to do something about that chronic snot bubble in his throat.

*seriously, some of them think fucking a virgin will cure their AIDS.
