Touching... And to think I waited until after Xmas to come to the Fugly Forums... I could've printed that out and put it up at the children's center for all to enjoy...

    *sighs* There's always next year...

Instead of calling it a christmas picture for the kids let's call it what it is. It is the admission of an adult that they failed their childhood and that they can't let it go. They have to continually try to minimize the things that make childhood a unique time in life like believing in santa clauss. Actually, it is an expression of aggression toward failed parents and frustration at being raised in a dysfunctional manner. But, afterall some of it falls back on the offspring as genetics plays a role as well many times. So it is really a picture in self hatred. Either that or it's an example of contrived art according to formulatic cookie cutter preconcieved standars as in a plus b give art. Only it's societal revered icon plus sex or violence equals art. As in if I plug these things in all the sudden I am a real artist.

Are there any adults nowadays who don't have failed childhoods? Seems to be the norm from what I've seen.

    But anyways, cool pic.
