    Cool. Heath Ledger smacks up the other Gyllenhaal.

    I like the visceral look of this Joker versus the campy Tim Burton version. No disrespect to Jack Nicholson, who was perfect for the role, but Ledger's Joker should give this new Batman series a much needed dark edge that the previous one lacked.

    I have to agree. I think the Nicholson joker was more child friendly. The scarecrow really showed more edge than any villain in the previous movies. Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee, would have been better if it wasnt so 'flash dance', oh that was bat dance. My bad. I do think devito was a good Penguin though.

    The series took a real dive when they brought in robin, bat girl, and Mr. Freeze. They should have let Kevin Smith do it.
