I just checked the tracking for my new turtles that are arriving tomorrow and they are in Louisville, KY. ! I made them a nice outdoor enclosure. Oh joy! Oh turtles! They are soooo cute! It is impossible to be tense around turtles, because they are so funny and adorable.
Turtles live for a loooooooooong time. They'll probably outlive her. I wish someone would have bought me an amazon parrot or a cockatoo when I was born. We could race to see who would live the longest. Did you know that a swan can live to be 102 or a turkey buzzard to be 118?!!
I wish I had sound on my computer... that looked funny! These are young Eastern box turtles... they should outlive me. I already have one turtle, a Three-Toed box turtle named Wayne. I'm thinking about naming the new guys Fat Jesus, Hootie, and Morgan le Fay. They should be here any minute!
