I couldn't believe that they were actually making a show of it and then the other night I hear what I thought was some gay show like 'Queer Eye" in the living room and I asked my husband what kind of faggoty shit he was watching and he was like, "That stupid Caveman show". He was flipping though and stopped out of morbid curiosity. Well, at least it's not another reality show. Or is it?
Back on topic I have mentioned the site to a couple of people but not invited anyone in. Take no offense, Jefe. It's not you, it's me. Most of the people I know probably wouldn't "get" this place and likely could not contribute. But that's what I like about it. I'm entertained, fascinated, even disgusted by all of you but I'm too interigued to turn away. Just don't expect a card at Christmas. Barry is the only person here I've ever met. I held a 1 minute conversation with Grim over the XBOX Live once and got a few VMs from Dwaine there as well. Hence, I don't know what to call you. Friends? Maybe. When I speak of a Fugly to someone it's usually "someone I know" or "I got an email from somene about....." To my wife it's "The Forum" and she knows what I mean but has never (and will never) visited herself. But it's certaily an interesting "relationship."
I just don't want people I know in here because I would find their presence annoying. I tried to get a girl I used to work with to post and she did once, but her account got blocked because Fugly was cracking down on spam. I got her account unblocked, but I don't think she was interested in this place.... that was years ago. I have spoken to 4 Fuglies on the phone and met one in person but I made him communicate with me through a keyboard.
I'm weird like that. If I really like a band, I won't tell my friends about it because I don't want them listening to it. It cheapens it for me.
Yeah, if any other friends of mine tried to come in, I'd be like, "Go away, I have to deal with you in the real world." I like to escape reality. At night it's with alcohol but at work, it's Fugly.
New blood is good. Plus I have already screened all these people and they were the ones I could stand.
