You'll find we're all a bit mentally ill here, to take the piss out of you for it would be quite hypocritical. On the other hand, any picture you happen to post is fair game for us to chop up, screw with and generally belittle you for.

No. I've wondered if I have had some type of epilepsy before. I don't have big seizures or anything, but sometimes I wonder if I am having some type of sensory seizure.

My first experience with epilepsy was with a boy in grade school. We were in class and this kid from across the hall comes in all shaken up screaming. "Hurry, Mrs (can't remember her name)! Steve is doing something! Steve is doing something!" Turned out that he was having a seizure.

    Thanks for not making fun.

TLE seizures can be really, really subtle... mine usually start with a sense of apprehension (often in the form of a feeling of impending doom) or sometimes anticipation, followed by a certain calm clarity in which the world becomes quite unfamiliar but very defined and beautiful. Then there is a bit of dizziness, and sometimes a strong sense of deja vu. Sometimes I feel earthquakes that don't really happen, and sometimes everything just seems really strange. Occasionally I see swimming sparks that look like tadpoles, and often I lose pieces of memory. For a long time I just assumed I was nuts, but it turns out is was just electricity in my brain. My best friend is epileptic too (I'm such a copycat!) but she has a different kind and hers is much worse.

If you think you might have TLE, they can check it out with an MRI. I have a benign tumor in my brain so I have to have an annual MRI anyway to make sure it's not growing, but I guess it doesn't show up unless they are looking for it specifically? I don't know. Ask your doctor about it though!

Yeah, I'm a little afraid to post my picture! I've seen what can happen...

Oh come on! It can't be as bad as limpy/lumpy's, and even she didn't fare too badly. In fact, i think if anything, this is an improvement on the original.

I thought it was just me. Some entertainers are thrust down your throat so much you begin to think it's your problem that you think they're not funny. I don't "get" the attraction to Silverman, maybe she'll fade away soon.
