The Money Order thing is out of control. On Fridays at Walmart and Krogers and the like. The service desk in my town is back up at least 30 deep.

 

you want to cure the immigrant job issue? It's simple, make people pay the SAME amount for jobs. be it a white guy, mexican, Nigerian, or Joe. Force the labor communities to tell immigrants they deserve to be paid the same amount as everyone else. Then the consumers can decide, "paco and his group of greasy beaners", or a licensed contractor. Have the DOL do "sting" operations, yanking peoples business, building, liquor, etc , license when they break this law. I bet if they did this, it would cure the immigration problem in under a year.

Add in a consumption tax and that would put a serious damper on the amount of pesos they send home. I know people that have lived here legally, worked for 4 years and then retired back home in mexico. Four years of 35-40k a year puts them on easy street back home. I could imagine how much these guys working for cash send home.

 

Look at it this way, if they can't take care of their own country, I wouldn't trust 'em with mine (or yours)... most of the immigrants i've seen or heard about are leeches, only a small percentage want to do things properly and with some respect for others. The rest, as you say, in a far nicer way than I'm about to, can fuck off..
