Yeah, right. I wouldn't wear that garbage. I'll have to post a pic of my girl on her period when I get home. She was so cute... and pissed. She would eat her pads.

nauseous - i came home from work today and one side of georgie's abdomen (not by his hips but up more like by his ribs) is hugely swollen. he's not in pain and had a HUGE appetite. is this consistent with tapeworms? he was supposed to have been wormed on monday, but what the hell? i've never seen this. guess it's back to the vet tomorrow.

no, great doctor, we all have dogs here.

he seems better today although his tummy is SUPER full. of course, he is eating two bowls of dog food at a time. i'm going to get him checked just incase it's something else i'm not expecting.

good news is they both slept outside last night with no problems, no barking or whining or tearing down the door!

so for the exception of my sweet daughter waking me i pretty much slept all night.

Oh geez, I'm sorry to hear that! I don't think that is consistent with tapeworms, but I am no vet. When I adopted the dog before this one, she had tapeworms but she was 7 mos old and didn't have a swollen belly. Actually, she was really skinny and the only reason I knew she had them as that I found little bits of what looked like dried spaghetti on my bed. I took her to the vet the next day and only had to give her one pill and the problem was gone really quickly. I think enough time has passed that the tapeworms in your little boy's belly should be dead.

It's hard to tell with puppies because they all have that bloated look to their bellys, but I would get him in to the vet ASAP. Was he treated for Roundworms as well? Because it sounds like it could be roundworms. This visit should be free (unless they RX meds) because it should be considered a re-check.

Good luck! Your cute little puppy has had it tough. He's lucky to have someone like you who is so diligent with his care.

He almost won the hot dog eating contest at a fair in Lake Eufalia, AL. However he lost to one of Scmeds chicks.

Well, at one time I was college athlete and had a body like a Greek statue.

I still have the figure of a statue now, except the statue is Buddah.

there are many more people with buddha statues in their lives and homes than there are greek statues. that whole why serve a god that is anorexic and scraggly looking when you can believe in a well-fed, happy god
