yeah, it's snot a secret that the healthcare policy in the US is really fucked up. What really pisses me off, Bush was re-elected by elderly people, so to pay them back, he sit all over Medicare, so they can't afford medications anymore. People that had to work hard all there live now have to decide weather to eat, or take their heart medication. Someone tossed it in my face "why don't they sign up fro the patient assistance medication programs?" well if you receive medicare benefits, you are inelgiable for those programs. My dad who is retired, was paying about $100 a month for his meds. the new Bush prescription plan has pushed it too $480. If it wasan't for me and my brothers, he would be dead. I hope i get to be face to face with dubya one day. I plan to spit in his thieving, traitorous, murder face.

Hey stupid fuck where did the meds come from your dad takes?

You know the ones he pours into a cereal bown and adds milk over the top cause their are so damn many?

That fucker should have been dead already so great god forbid his family prop him up by helping pay for his meds. NOOOOOOO I got to fork out a few bills to do it.

Maybe I should send Dr. Kervorkian over to fix the shitty ass problem.

You have no right to health care.

Had this been 20 yeAars ago this would not be a problem that old fucker would be in the dirt and we would move on.

Of course that would have been Reagans fault right?

I think placing the burden of healthcare on the federal government is BS to a point. I think states should be more involved in this process. Georgia has a program called 'Peach Care' where you can get quality health insurance for your kids for a reasonable price. When I was consulting I used it, I had to. I couldnt afford healthcare for myself let alone my whole family. Now, I am in flux. I left my job at NS in December, 3 years of no salary increases and insurance rates climbing I had to move or face making cut backs in my life that I just didnt feel I should have to make. So I found an opening at a company that would offer me about 10% increase in pay, plus the benefits were better, even though a little higher. So I jumped on it. That was December. So in May I received an offer of about 12% higher than the most recent position, and well I jumped again. Kind of sucks on the resume, but I have to provide for my family first and worry about my resume having a lot of jobs on it second. So now I have to wait the 90 days to become eligible for healthcare. No biggie, we can just use COBRA right? WTF I am paying 600.00 a month for Insurance with COBRA. 600.00 a month. that is higher than my mortgage. Then they dont pay for anything. I told my wife to drop em. I have half a mind to put my kids back on peach care, and just get insurance for me and the wife through blue cross blue shield. It's a racket.

if the states were more responsible for healthcare, then that would give them motivation to lower unemployment rates, by getting people out working it would help pay for the subsidised(SP) healthcare. oh and I am a big fan of the

    FLAT TAX

or consumption tax, what ever you want to call it. Make all them dope dealers and pro athletes fork over some of that cash that they are running around with buying retarded stuff and then they only pay a little more in taxes than I do.

I agree, i am all for a Sin tax, the billions we spend everyday on a fictitious war would pay for healthcare easily. They have socialized medicine at Gitmo, for "accused" terrorists, but the real heros, at ground zero during 9/11 are pissed on. It's really sad in a way. I'm glad I haven't paid income tax in a few years now.

There are hundreds of government programs that are wastes. See everyone thinks the Civil War was fought over slavery, and a good portion of it was, but individual states rights was high on the list. A weak federal government that didnt have the control the one we have today does it's not hard to see the waste we have, but once you go so far it is really hard to change it.

    Exactly Phat

I like the Flat tax idea it encourages investment and taxes waste and excess there are so many reasons that this is better I do not know where to begin.

    Never happen though.

Reason # 1 the mass of idiots get their information from the media who will not inform people about the Flat Tax idea.
Reason # 2 the Democrats do not want it as tax the spend is how they make their money embezzle from the American people it would be like shooting them-self in the foot.

The people who wanted to fight the Civil war over the slavery issue were a minority . Share cropping would have taken care of that issue for those who disagree. BTW there were lots of white families that were share croppers for all you fucktards out there that are brainwashed. My great grandfather on my moms side was a share cropper. The civil would have never happened were it not for the States Rights argument. Less than say 5 percent of the white population were plantation owners who has a vested interest in slavery. So you guys who were not public schooled do the math. The others well their hopeless.

The Democrats and their Judiciary cronies create the problem with the slow bleeding of state government and the transfer of power to a Central government. Then feast off of the problems they themselves created as if they have the answer. Ans what is the answer more big government bureaucracy.

Look socialized medicine IS coming and WILL be here. Reason is that as things slowly evolve and people are addicted to the government wiping their ass. Powdering their butt and sending them on the way. What would seem like a repulsive display of infantile weakness suddenly begins to feel like a right. Next thing you know their asses are not wiped well enough and the baby powder improperly applied. The proposed solution will be to raise more taxes and elect more democrats. And remove more state power and delegate more control to the central government.

I'm no genius and I'm not Nostradamus but see what we have 10 to 20 years from now.

My predictions will be right on the fucking nail.

and Bush didn't accept over $800k from insurance lobbyists? All politicians are con artists. This is why I hate this part of the forums. Joe is just a copy and paste coward. He will eat his words one day.

    Heaven... I'm in heaven,
And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak.
And I seem to find the happiness I seek,
When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek.

    Heaven... I'm in heaven,
And the cares that hung around me through the week,
Seem to vanish like a gambler's lucky streak,
When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek.

Oh, I love to climb a mountain,
And to reach the highest peak.
But it doesn't thrill me half as much
    As dancing cheek to cheek.

Oh, I love to go out fishing
In a river or a creek.
But I don't enjoy it half as much
    As dancing cheek to cheek.

Dance with me! I want my arms about you.
    The charms about you
    Will carry me through to...

    Heaven... I'm in heaven,
And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak.
And I seem to find the happiness I seek,
When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek.
