No the collapse started with a wink and nod to AIG, Merrell Lynch, Leahman Brothers, to let them know they were covered by Uncle Sam then ordered on a suicide mission of reckless mortgage brokering.

The straw that broke the camels back was a letter written by a Democrat that started a run on the banks.

Their not so suprising October before election news.

The economy was sabataged.

Here watch this video series. Going back to the early 80's this is when several countries were influenced by the book "Free to Choose" by Dr. Friedman.

Those countries are the ones that turned around their economy since then and are major success stories today.
