Wouldn't that be funny if he gave everyone the ability to edit but me? Since I complain about it the most.

I can only edit in the movie section (my little niche). And I rarely do it. We let everyone edit a few years ago and that hank lu guy went back and erased all of his posts so I think Jeff just did away with it.

You're able to edit your post for 15 minutes after you post it, just in case you make a mistake.

Otherwise people go back and edit stuff they wrote so that it either makes no sense or it alters the conversation such that it makes the other person look like an asshole.

If I asked in a thread, "Who here loves pizza?" and a couple people replied with, "I do, I eat it all the time!" ... well, you can just imagine what possibilities there are with the ability to change the original post.

That would actually make a fun game.

Had a reply option, a quote option, a multi-quote option, ... some other things I forgot already but no edit option.

 

How about a straight 'DELETE' option? Have it note that *something* was posted, regardless of what responses it elicited, but allow someone the dignity of erasing posts that make them sound like a complete idiot.

We could get Dan's post count down to double digits in this manner... (just putting that out there)

 

Yeah, there is no edit option and hasn't been since the rep power was introduced.

 

I think nobody deleted my post, cause I just tried to go back, and edit, and I had two identical posts, minus my added 'edit'.....

I think this is a left wing conspiracy about more posts being better than saving posts up...
