Is it just me, or is anyone else having torrents of extra spam mail ( I mean more than normal ) flooding into their Fugly registered mail box? I currently have 118 in mine, from 1 weeks worth, its never been that bad before the move back here. I also get people adding me to their list to check up on me or something. I'm going to see if I can remove my email from view in profile settings, for now, but its a bit late already as it looks like i've been added to a few more lists. :frown:
I haven't noticed any extra spam (apart from the stuff i've been beseiged by since i entered all those shitty competitions). My other...err...my chancellor Neeeeeeeeeee's account is spamfree.
I use a "throw-away" AOHell acct. I had 498 messages in it, 8 of which were Identified as spam. AOL really has a hella-filter on that shit.
AOL allows spamers to pay, to bypass their filter. Only thing that gets spam now, is the account i just registered with Godaddy, and i havent given the Email address out yet, and it isn't info@tattorrent, or webmaster, nor do I have a catch all. So Godaddy defiantly sells your email address . Most of the spam is for web server scripts.
My My - Godaddy. I have three fairly new Godaddy accounts. I am now besieged by crap. I will be discussing that with someone. if by chance they don;t listen, I may have to have to mail them a letter bomb.* . . . . . . *and by letter bomb I mean one of Schmeds special socks in a warm moist box.
