I just sliced off a wart from my finger today and the bleeding went on for a solid ten minutes, enough to fill a half cup of jello if I estimate correctly.

Applying pressure made it trickle more heavily, burning the wound also did nothing to close it. Eventually I just held it to the air until the blood hardened and a scab was made. For some reason, that finally worked.

So, next time you see a movie where they say "apply pressure, hold firm", I'm not certain if it would be the best idea. The only thing it did for me was to temporarily plug the drip, but it trickled out immediately after letting loose.

I noticed that too. A cup is a cup. A cup of jello, a cup of pickle juice, a cup of urine... it's all the same quantity.

Except Cup O' Soup. That's like a small package.
