Dell. Sometimes I see some nice deals on laptops for like $450, plus if you search online or ebay too, you can find some coupons for more discounts. I wouldnt trust refurbished stuff from them though, just from experience.
Check Office Depot Sunday newspaper ads, or OfficeMax. They usually have some pretty decent deals, but you might have to wait for a rebate check.
Yeah, the rebate checks. The last time, they messed up and sent two for $150, so the laptop that cost $750 ended up being $450. Thanks, HP!
A couple years ago, I ended up getting a Viewsonic 20" W/S LCD monitor for something like $90 after an online order fuckup/store swap (to a different brand) & upgrade on screen size... I forget how much it ended up costing me, but it was dirt cheap (especially at the time)
