View Full Version : Time to step up to the plate - MLB 06 The Show

I work with Sony 989 in the hope of increasing awareness of their newer games. On top of that, I have been playing MLB 06 The Show pretty consistently and i think it is an amazing baseball game.

At first I was not good at it at all, but then I spent some time playing King of the Diamond (one of the two mini-games) and my batting/pitching skills improoved dramatically. Now MLB 06 The Show is not only impressive to look at, but it is awesome to play.

Has anyone else been hitting them outta the park in MLB 06 The Show?

I'd love to hear anything, positive or negative, you have to say about it.

Maybe its me, but baseball is like watching chess... now watching chess in a medium security prision is fun, you never know when one inmate will get pissed and shank the other, but other than that its just boring

Yeah, 'boring' is what I hear most when people are explaining baseball. Its cool. I don't like football. I just don't have an appreciation for the game.

And, with baseball, I guess it helps to be into pitching.

Baseball is fun to play, not on a XBOX though, Football is by far more exciting. The last baseball game I bought was 'bases loaded' for the original Nintendo.

I hear they use renewables in hell. Mostly the constant stream of methane that spews from Dwaine, but they also use hydrogen. The lake of fire is actually just a huge experiment.

Say what you want, but you know the next time you see or hear about MLB 06 The Show you are going to spend an extra second on it. I garuntee that someone in here is even PLAYING the game but doesn't want to admit it. So you can say what you want, but MLB 06 The Show is still an awesome baseball video game, and I know I've intrigued some of you to go play it.
