I only got to play it for about 1/2 an hour, but the time I did spend on God of War was awesome. It's Devil May Cry on steroids, which was also an awesome game.

I think the magic is ok fun, I like the lightning attacks for all free hits. Its a lot easier to get the 100+ hits tapping O button.

Heh, mebbe . .still didn't really need it .. and my blades were maxed out in no time cause i didn't upgrade magic. .

Yeah, I never use the medussa stone turning spell. I use lightning and the army of Hades for fun combos and the missile attack for annoying ememies in the distance.

The Video game totem pole goes Japan, USA, Europe. That's for most games, of course. Exceptions are abound, but Europe typicaly has the short uncircumsized end of the stick.

The graphics on God of War were phat for PS2 standards. They might seem standard on next-gen. Eye candy aside, it is a cool game but I can't see it launching a PS3 surge.
