I was pretty shocked by Crash winning, I was going to rent it tommorow off PPV. I was for sure Brokeback would win.

I'll have to check it out. My ex rented it when she was still living with me, but I never got around to watching it.

Well, it shouldn't of won movie of the year, but it was a good movie. Lot's of good acting. Some pretty unbelieveable sequences of events, but very watchable.

Why should Brokeback have won? Because it was so *ooo* controversial? Because everyone spoofed the hell out of it this year?
In my opinion, gay cowboyths are highly over-rated. There were no really good movies this year, none that would warrant the so called "upset".

I would have thought if you were being unoriginal you would have put up a Fonzi pic.

I'll have to check out Crash then. I don't know about the whole "Brokeback Mountain" thing though. How does the cowboys being gay make the story any more compelling. A tale of forbidden love doesn't sound interesting to me, be it gay or straight. Throw in Cowboys in the mix and it just sounds way to art house chic to be of any real entertainment value to me.

You, sir, have obviously never been tied up by a cowboy.

Yeah, after he watched "Full Metal Jacket" he walked off mumbling something about communists and a "burmese Bungle trap".

The only character I liked in Romeo and Juliet was Mercutio.
