Finished unpacking boxes, cleaned the garage, built a nice workbench for the garage and organized, hauled off several bags of debris from the back yard, planted some plants, cleaned the pool, fixed the pool equipment and heater, tapped into the pool timer using an extra relay switch to control lights along the perimeter of the back yard into the 120 ac circuit so that the pool equipment remote turns them on and off, had a few backyard cook-outs, a pool party, and went to my nieces birthday party.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you get off your ass and away from the forums.

Plus I’m quite proud of the lights and the bench is awesome. Not to brag or anything like that but you did ask.

Sounds good. I built a crib, moved a friends mom to a new apartment, and drank. And posted more than I probably should have. The dynamic of a co-operative relationship between the United States and India fascinates me. How do you reconcile Hindu culture and American consumerism. It'll be a fascinating mix. If it works the way the leaders are hoping.

If not its at least big and with both India and China industrializing. Think of all the people getting jobs= money= little mopeds and mini trucks converted into people transporters. All of this equals more fossil fuels burned.

Then there are the consumer products.

Huge huge market. And something to ponder. I wonder what Chester might have to say about this isn’t he in marketing? And would the Aussies not have a considerable opportunity here in a global market?

All what has been idustrialised zones the last hundred years, benefits, as contributors to the growth of chinese economy.

Pesimists predict they will be swallowed by the malignant tumor of prole dictatorial secretariat sentralism. Though similtaneous demonic posession, by the forces of liberal economics, on the poor unsoiled vessel of the peoples republic, seems likely. But how much of the fully grown market will belong to "classic" western products is another story.

There are many variables there, but I don't think Beijing will be able to keep a to tight of a leash on the PRC for too much longer. I think the Triads will have a big effect on that, in addition to the Russian Mafia. I think if Beijing cracks down to much on the free market I think the Triads will move north, possibly hooking up with the Russian Mafia, which would be bad news for Beijing. They opened the door a crack, they won't be able to close it again. But that has nothing to do with India. If India turns to consumer culture that is a huge market. Good for world business to raise the standard of living in India. They have huge amounts of the factors of production, all they need is the influx of capital to become an economic giant.

Yes it is, and on current growth rates it's tipped to overtake China by the middle of the century.

India is already well-penetrated by marketing and advertising companies, thanks to its colonialisation by the British over 100 years ago. But yes, it is nonetheless a hotbed of activity.

But the main game at the moment is being played out in China, because there capitalism is a very recent phenomenon.

Count me out Xerx as a pessimist regarding the economy. But I am pessimistic about the huge demands these two areas will have on the petroleum market.

Yeah Dio the whole triad, mafia issue puts a different spin that should be estimated. Makes you wonder where the line stops between government manipulations independent to organized crime when it comes to either Russian or Chinese intelligence agencies.

I bet marketing companies were anticipating an explosion in these markets years ago. With Japanese car manufacturers bringing in factories to the area along with American services related call centers. One should wonder what powers that be were reading between the lines and making investments into future economic growth years ago.
