They've gotten worse, unless someone has some testimony or hard evidence for me to conclude otherwise, I'm going to chalk this up as another reason the U.S. never should have invaded Iraq in THE FUCKING FIRST PLACE. Thank you, I feel much better now that I have that off of my chest.

It's all part of the plan. Stomp all over them, then make them pissed, then don't help them but kick them while they're down. Do you think the muslim world would be more pissed or less pissed if we'd actually gave a damn about helping them instead of bombing the shit out of them?

It's just one big pissing the world off campaign. We'll need enemies in the coming years to preoccupy our minds with instead of focusing on the truly important aspects of our world, environment, sun and solar system.

Smurf:

Before 911 what specifically did we do to piss off Al Qaeda?

And be specific please.

Not to mention aid in the creation of the State of Israel, which is built on land the Europeans had no right to donate to the displaced European Jews in the first place.

Xerx: Have a lot of troops in Saudi Arabia and giving Israel lots of weapons for free

Troops eh? that’s arguable.

Israel weapons? In reality Al-Qaeda could give maybe two shits about the Palestinians. They probably are offended about the Jews but even outside of Israel there were Jews as long as there were Muslims. Displaced Jews were given a home in desolate land at the time. Jews made something of it and the Palestinians living in Jordan where they were treated like scum came running to where they would be treated better.

But like I said to the typical Arab the Palestinians are second class citizens.

We give Palestinians money also. :? don't ask me why.

And spread that whoorish western moral and television and corrupting good muslim youth with your Coca-cola and devilish christian ways.

Now there you hit the nail right on the head

But this point starts to break away from the idea of the thread about Iraq its just the point to make regarding Smurf's post. The point being that staying out of Iraq and Afghanistan was not going to make everyone all warm and fuzzy and bring the feeling of love between them and us. They hate America because to them and their fundamentalist belief system we are evil and with the spread of media via technology they felt like they had to act.

And we reacted where we say the threat to be the greatest.

Yes we/they had. The british goverment help Palestine as a colony :)
They tried not to though, but turning starving easterneuropean jews back on half-sinking ships looked bad after hitlers hickups. And the sionists had right to buy land in the 1880.

BUT Begin had no right to terrorize them away from their land. It was a smart move though, since no arab state aknowledged Israel. They needed a minimum of borders.

Not to mention that Jews were colonizing back into the area before all of that anyways.

So what, the United States held Cuba as a colony, doesn't give us the right to give away their land to a bunch of people they hate.
