Bounce a script idea off you guys.

I got it copyrighted today so I'm covered I'm just not sure if I should bother sending it off any where. its called 28 to life.

Its basically a heist flick. Its about a group of friends who are all 28, The main char is turning 28 in 2 weeks and they all made an agreement when they got out of high school if none of them had gotten rich by the age of 28 they would rob a bank.

Well of course none of them have really done anything one went to the military, One is a pot head, The main still lives at home. You get the set-up.

Anyway the main has a plan to rob 3 banks all at the same time on his birthday. Only the catch is they are not robbing the bank they are robbing the Race Track who is exchanging larger bills for smaller one which they do ever 2 weeks. They do 500k at 3 diffent banks every 2 weeks. The main knows this for he use to work at the track. so they will get a Mil from each bank. Anyway they pull it off then of course they agree not to do anything with the money til things cool down which none of them do. The owner of the track calls in someone to track down his money and so on and so fourth.

So should I just throw it in the pile or send it off.

I'd have to read the whole script to give you my honest opinion. A plot is a plot, the writing is what makes it...imo. You can take a shitty ass plot - like say some retarded brits get attacked by zombies and try to make their way to a pub...hmm.. Sounds stupid right? But the writing made it an awesomely funny movie.

Grim, the idea is as good as anything else Hollywood offers. Develop it. I think it has a chance.

Be sure to add a scene where the characters all meet in a strip club to discuss the details. Strip clubs seem to be important to movies like that. No other way to get nude women involved, since all the characters are 28 year old losers.

Here I will give you an idea that will make a great movie since you seem to be most lacking in originality. You should try to write a movie about my avatar. The astronomers think they have discovered a collapsing giant star but in reality it is an evil eye kind of like in the lord of the rings but this one works intergalactaly and it is kind of like a Star Wars meets the Lord of the rings only alot darker than Star wars. Make a good script about that and you will make millions.

If you've never written a script I reccomend finding a program on the internet. I would personally recomend dramtica for any type of story telling, even if yer stuff veers away from the traditional hero' s journey format.

Oh i have written them, I just never had the nerve to send any of them off. I don't care about it being reject. More worried about it being accepted and thats it. Its the only thing I ever do.
