I just picked this DVD up in the last week and god damn it is really good. Two Discs-disc one contains the theatrical release while disc tow has the "directors cut". It is actually broken up into the 4 stories so each on can be watched in its entirity without interruption. The extras in it are really good also. Lots of interviews, even a cooking class with Robert Rodriguez. One of the more interesting features was the all green screen version. This was the movie as it was shot with out the CGI (which if you didn't know was the whole movie, none of it was filmed anywhere actually) so its just all the actors without the setting. Gives you an idea just how hard it was to pull this movie off. I havnt gotten to watch every little thing in this box set (a lot of it but not all) but over all this set is really good for fans of the movie and comic. It comes with one of the graphic novels, I'm not sure if it varies but mine came with "The Hard Goodbye" which is the Marv story (Mickey Rourke in the movie). I havn't stumbled upon any eastereggs as of yet, so if anyone knows of any please let me know.

Now that was a great movie. Not a big fan of Bruce Willis, but I must admit he done a great job in that one (even if his part was small). Mickey Rourke was excellent as Marv. I love the slightly colourised black and white effect, and the way the story comes together from multiple splinters. I can see Tarantino's influence and Rodriguez's touch too.

And you can definately see Miller's touch too, of course.

Personally I like him. In fact, it's almost as if the role of his in Sin City was written for him, the underdog, washed up, gritty cop.

Die Hard 1 and the third one were both good action movies, sorry Rez. But please note that there is a big difference between good ACTION movies and good movies.

I've watched all the extras on this set now, all good, all worth watching. This is one of the best DVD box sets I've seen in awhile. I give it two thumbs up and a penis shake.

Speaking of Cooking with Rodriguez, I made the pork dish from Once upon a time in Mexico and it was pretty damn good.

Yea it was, his breakfast "Sin City Tacos" in this one are good too. Nothing super hard, but he does give a good recipe for hand made tortillas.

No that's a whole different graphic novel. Two in fact, one was called Family Matters (my fav, it was all him and Miho killing people) and then another one I forget the name right now, but that one was were he got plastic surgery.
