What was it? I'm too lazy... let me rephrase that, too smart to click on most of the links posted here.
After that beheading that Dwaine posted, I've been very cautious about what I click.

It's the BBC website. I don't think you have much to worry about clicking on that one link at least.
I'll generaly wait for a few replies to a post with a link in before I'll click on it. Better safe than sorry as the old saying goes. Or Fools rush in... is probably more appropriate for this place.

I don't even remember the website that it was on, but it was hardcore.
They cut the guy's head off with a something similar to a hunting knife. It was horrible and it scarred me. Now I don't click on links.

I click on every fucking link here. But with sound down, and fingers at the ready to turn off anything that offends my (admittedly pretty loose) morals.

Do you like "Men at Work"?

Not really. It's hard to find a way to say you're from Australia, that people get, without saying "Australia".
I had "Sinny" down for a while, (Aussie accented pronounciation of "Sydney"), but I think it was too obscure.
As far as Aussie musical exports go though, Men At Work are right down there with Olivia Newton John in my opinion.

Most Aussie bands sell out their original sound in order to get bigger overseas exposure. INXS was one: their first single "Just Keep Walking" was, in my opinion, easily their best and purest. Cold Chisel didn't sell out so much, but their singer Jimmy Barnes went on to a HUGE but much less interesting solo career.
As far as Oz bands go, I really rate early AC/DC (with Bon Scott singing). The High Voltage album is a ripper. I also love Rose Tattoo, who Guns n Roses cite as an influence (for what it's worth).
More contemporary Oz bands who rock are Jet (despite their incredible commercialisation they still blow the roof off of pub venues), Frenzal Rhomb (though their original bass player gave them a sound that the newer guy doesn't quite pull off) and Spiderbait (you've gotta love a singing drummer. Unless it's Phil Collins.)
In case you can't tell, I think rock still shits all over techno, hip hop, etc.

Dance music sucks. Techno is boring. Country is annoying.

Yeah, but Deep House and Acid Jazz can be the shit.
