Recent movie's I've rented with the new Blockbuster all you can watch for ten bucks a month.
Napolean Dynamite - Kind of funny not extremely funny. Taking nerdiness to the extreme .
Office Space - Starts off pretty funny then gets stupid as it tries to end the stupid plot.
I Robot - Liked it. Very good special effects. Some of the futuristic buildings look like they would have been better designs for the replacement of the twin towers than the current designs.
So what was the point in that post??

yeah, i joined online dvd rental thing trying to win an ipod, but whatever.
Office SPace: I really liked it. I dont agree with you Dan.
Nappy D: FUCKING ROCKED! I am so voting for Pedro now.
The Grudge: sucked
Ju-on (Jap version of The Grudge): super sucked
Garden State: whiny 20-somethings still trying to figure out who they are, blah blah blah... liked the depressing nature of it with the soundtrack though.
Bottle Rocket- ugh, what a waste of my time.
Rushmore- I remember loving it when it came out so I am renting it again.
Exorcist-The Beginning- I am wishing I hadnt joined the online rental dvd thingy anymore.
I Heat Huckabee's: someone should just kill me or shove jalapenos up my butt for better entertainment.
Godsend: It was okay. I was more interested in Rebecca Romaine Stamos's sweater. It was a long wrap cardigan in tan, with a Greek key design around the bottom edge. Very J.Crew meets supermodel. I watched the credits in slo-mo but cant figure out where she got it. I hope its not J.Crew. Have you seen their prices lately? They have some crappy denim skirt with hand-sewn patchwork garbage on it for like $295. Who the fuck would pay that for that crap? I sent J.Crew a letter saying just that and they told me their leather is from Gucci and their fabrics from Prada what a load of shit. If I wanted PRada, I would just buy Prada.
Everything else I saw sucked except for maybe that one with the black guy and Tom Cruise in the taxi. That was okay I guess.

Jap version of the Grudge right? yeah, i thought it was even more boring but the effects were better. the most entertaining part was listening to the English audio dub with English subtitles that didnt come close to matching. sorry honey bunney

Collateral was Great- although I cringe even as I type that (I DESPISE Tom Cruise).
I Love Huckabees was fucking hysterical..." a spiritual petit-four, if you will..."
Office Space...the best.
One of my biggest favorites: The Royal Tenenbaums (not new, but KICK ASS)
The Grudge did suck, but then again, I watched it all alone late at night.
Million Dollar Baby is really good, and there is a bit of blood in it so you might like it Dwaine.
My favourite movies are One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Girl Interrupted, I wonder why? But they are really good movies.

Just saw Bad Santa with Billy Bob Thorton and Bernie Man. Billy Bob Thorton plays an alcoholic mall santa safe craker who robs the place by leaving his midget black elf in the mall before closing time. Pretty funny.

Just watched Harold and Kumar go to white castle. Pretty much just about smoking pot and trying to get to white castle. I would say it was funny. Not going to win an Oscar though.

Thursday- Fear and loathing in las vegas: What a fucking trip... real funny movie, some parts get a bit.. slow and you're tempted to skip but all in all good movie, like the way depp talks.
Friday- Malibu's most wanted: I was stoned, i didn't care. but it's bad.
Sunday- Trainspotting (not the first time i see it): It's okay.. I was on a comedown but not able to sleep yet, so.. i just kind of pulled myself through it.

Go see ORIGINAL movies...
If at first is was a good book ?.......keep it that way!!!
I regret seeing Dune, I robot, Minority report
Even Blade runner and Lord of the rings are NOTHING compared to the book(s)
Didn't regret wasting my time on THEM though
GOOD movie?? Fight Club....(allthough on the end for some obscure reason quite disturbing)

You seem to have problems seperating movies from the books they were based on....

And Fight Club the book was still better.
I read the Lord of the Ring trilogy and was mostly bored by it. Love the movies though.

I loved the movies and the books.
It's hard to compare a book to a movie. Movies are limited by time and the need to make money.

Fair point. I saw an interview the Peter Jackson and I guess in his original pitch he was gonna try and tell the whole story in two movies.
