That have nothing to do with politics, the environment, medicine or any of the worlds current problems. I am thinking about making a trip to the bookstore for some stuff to read over the holidays. Looking for some good fiction.

Southern Culture, very personal and emotional.

Man is the Prey (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0812812506/fugly01-20?creative=327641&camp=14573&link_code=as1) - James Clarke
Written in the 1970's - documents all the animals that hunt and kill humans (lions, tigers, bears, Oh my, etc) Sounds bad, but is one of the most interesting books you will ever read.

Without Conscience: The Disturbing World of the Psychopaths Among Us (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1572304510/fugly01-20?creative=327641&camp=14573&link_code=as1) by Robert D. Hare
Great book if you like to study the mind. Hint: The psychopaths are not who you think. They are mostly Doctors, Lawyers and CEO's. I read it in one day - found it truly fascinating. (but I am probably a little biased because it has my picture on the back cover.)

Enjoy!

It is really not that big of a mystery. Fugly is just a sharp business dude, and quickly saw a way to get his foot in the door with Amazon.com. He gets my vote for opportunist of the week.

Didn't I say I was sorry? I am kinder and gentler now. No need to beat me down any further.

I still intend to be opinioned and fairly closed minded, but at least I am trying not to be so arrogant. It is was a facade anyway. (and you, Nursey, know that).

To answer your question, my diagnosed mental illness is found in this book http://www.press.jhu.edu/books/title_pages/1065.html not in the one about psychopaths.

If you don't mind. Being arrogant was much easier, and relieved my stress much better than watching Crocodile Hunter.

I know it's probably lame but I'm a big Stephen King fan so pretty much anything by him (especially Insomnia). Anne Rice is pretty good too.
