Should be a good movie, but its changed so much from the original (there are like 18 people in the mall, not 4, there is no swat guys, ect) to be better.

I have the original on VHS. It's a loooong ass movie, but I like it.

I guarantee the remake is gonna suck.

Why should this remake be any damned different? Of course it's going to suck. I've only seen ONE remake that actually IMPROVED on the original....and that was "Night of the Living Dead"....I love the original, and the remake actually DID do a decent job on it...BUT.........

Anyway....I have the original Directors Cut of "Dawn of the Dead"...and while the make-up wasn't great.........at least it was enough. And the Directors Cut actually added enough to the movie to explain a couple of things that went unanswered in the theater.

I just hope this bullshit stops........and stops NOW. What next? A "NEW" "Greatest American Hero" movie?!?!?! Maybe a remake of "The Toxic Avenger"?!?!?!

The Dawn of the Dead remake, whilke not much of a remake, outside of them being in a mall, was a really good zombie flick, belive me I know zombie flicks. While nothing will really beat the Romero's original movies, this movie was a great watch..though kids these days got no patience for the slow moving Zombies of the 70's and 80's.....

And only the fresh ones (god I love Lina Quigley) look good naked, or are you telling me you were attracted to the half zombie female they had tied to the embalming table??
