I go through moods where I listen to the same songs over and over and over.

My current ones are:

Gray Cell Green - Ned's Atomic Dustbin (reminds me highschool)

The General Specific - Band of Horses

Very First Lie - Material Issue

Two are old songs, one is somewhat new. Band of Horses is a great newer band and I don't care for new music much.

I have been listening to a mix of

Bubba Sparks, Ozzy (Black Sabbath), Luke Strikland, and Crystal Method.

It makes for a helluva Cd.

I have been all over "No More Kings" self-titled debut. Go to You Tube for some of the videos. "Sweep the Leg" is an epic vid.

I miss Elliott Smith's contribution to the music industry. He was extremely talented. I dated a guy that looked just like him in high school, but he threatened to kill me, so I broke up with him and then he stalked me for a while.

Interesting story from the smoking gun:

I had heard his death was a possible homicide, but I hadnt heard of the girlfriend in the home at the time, possible defense wounds, or the absence of hestation wounds. Sounds shady as hell! Shame he died, he was indeed an extremely talented artist...

If some looked in my car at my CDs they say WTF

Few Ministry, Front 242, Black Sabbath, 2 Live Crew, Lords of Acid, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, INXS, Rob Zombie, Lisa Gerald - from Dead Can Dance, Gucci Crew II, BiGod20, Busta Rymes, Missy Elliott, Primus, Dolly Parton, Billy Idol, Beastie Boys, a bunch of Arabic crap, Sisters Of Mercy, Country Classics 1 and 2, Kiss, KMFDM, Sineade O'Conner, James Brown, Suxie and the Banshees, Iggy Pop, Cramps
and I have a Georgia Satelites CD- that I liked playing when I was the driver for my goth friends

The last CD I bought was
Jr. Walker and the Allstars - Shotgun

so when people ask me "what type of music do you listen to?" I have no idea what category I should list myself in.

Lords of Acid kick ass! You ever hear Mindless Self Indulgence by chance? Kinda in the same vein, a little less techno-ish though.

And damn near everyone "listens to everything", myself included. If someone asks me that I just name the genres I listen to more predominantly.
