If the bass drum is broken into 8/8, it seems to come down on 1, 5&6. Could you adjust the auto-quantize and make it strike at 1, 4&5?

I'm likely full of shite. Cool track, D/O.

eh thanks, didnt think you like that style

as for changing the kick, i know what you mean, but it would basically change the style, as its drum and bass you only get a choice of a couple variations before it sounds something like polka, its also in a loop sample anyway (ie a fixed order) so i would have to sample it and remake the loop using a different pattern.

Yeah, I've got a lot of loops for Adobe Audition but I was thinking it would occupy the same space in 4/4 block. I'm probably not explaining what I mean very well.

As far as the style, I'm not really into trance/dance/techno to a large degree but I like Prodigy and Chemical Brothers. And it's very cool that you create your own tracks. I haven't written a song in almost 10 years. I wish I had the time (talent).

those are both good groups, prodigy are more a techno/breakbeat alternative cross, but a good middle ground from techno styles to drum and bass

if you take a listen to running with scissors on my page, it has a similar pattern to my new one.

I did notice that. I like the intro especially on Running With Scissors. I think it stands alone well even without a drum track.

Just downloaded Light and Dark so I can listen to it in the car while I road rage during the holiday season.

In case I forget, Happy Birthday in a few.

Asskisser! :)

The drumbeat made me feel like I was tripping up steps. Is it your birthday?

Happy Birthday!

I'm such a bad dancer, I can keep up with disorder's tracks. My moves on the dance floor cause paramedics to come to my aid.

I want you to hit your brakes in time with the beats.

Have you done any songs I could remix or sample? I'm always looking for guitar riffs too if you have any unfinished works

I have an instrumental recorded on a Tascam 414 4-track recorder. The quality is poor but you could get the gist of what I was doing. I need to redo it on the computer and try to compress it. It's a 4MB file as is.

New ones out, a pretty odd one compared to my normal stuff, more ambient with a bit of indian percussion

for the uninitiated (http://www.myspace.com/disorder2k8)
